The instruments of Samay
Although our music is incredibly wide in range we stick mostly to our Andean roots when it comes to the instruments of choice in our band. There are very unique qualities in each instrument that we use and they all have an interesting history. In times of Colonial America, european instruments underwent many transmutations and evolved into new, more adaptable tools that became the backbone of our music and our culture.
